Mary Barber

Mary has been working in education for the past 12 years. Her experience ranges from summer camps to public schools, private schools to boarding schools, higher education, non-profit work and beyond.

What unifies her professional journey is her commitment to quality education that is student-centered, research-based, and rigorous. Her consulting and training work mirrors how she conducts a classroom: she asks her clients to take risks and step outside their comfort zone in order to promote growth.

In her spare time she enjoys listening to true crime podcasts, hanging out with her partner and their two dogs, Oma and Phil, and checking out the Flohmärkte across Berlin.

Originally from the United States and now based in Berlin, DE, Mary is always looking to connect with passionate educators from all around the globe.
